Elias Steedman or Steadman was born about 1777 in Newberry, SC and died after 1850 in Mississippi.

He married Nancy Hardman. She was born 17 December 1779 in Wilkes Co, NC. She was the daughter of Uriah Hardman and Frances "Fanny" Chandler. Go to the Hardman line here. Go to the Chandler line here.
